Women's Economic Self-Sufficiency Team (WESST Corp.) was incorporated
in 1988 to assist low-income and minority women throughout New Mexico.
This project focuses on the area of Las Cruces and Farmington, New
Mexico, with program services provided to women in Dona, Ana, Luna,
Otero and Sierra counties, with limited outreach to El Paso, Texas by
the end of the second project year. WESST Corp. is a micro-lender under
SBA's micro-loan program. Counseling and mentoring are offered through
professional volunteers including attorneys, accountants, insurance
agents and benefits counselors."
