The Manchester-based Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is on the hunt for agency partners, as it looks to establish a three-year framework agreement to handle its various print and design needs.
The organisation, which was formed in 2007 from the merger of the Disability Rights Commission, the Commission for Racial Equality and the Equal Opportunities Commission, has its UK HQ in the city’s Arndale House.
It has armed itself with a budget of £1.5m to attract design and print groups and is looking to recruit firms that can work across printed promotional material (i.e. booklets) and web channels.
As you may expect from the nature of the organization, a track record in producing work that can demonstrate a pedigree in the accessibility field is a distinct advantage.
In terms of the design brief the commission is also looking for agencies that are able “to demonstrate ability to deliver creative work on an equality and human rights agenda” and are “able to be open and responsive to our input and requests for changes.”
